One of Finland’s most successful data development expert teams is reuniting, as the founders and core team of Talent Base establish a new company within the Norrin group.
Norrin_Image_03_Lehdistötiedote_08-10-2025Norrin Advisory Oy is co-founded by the original founder of Talent Base: Tomi Bergman, Mikko Mustakallio, and Tero Laatikainen alongside a group of former partners and employees.

The company is led by CEO Marko Loukaskorpi.

“We wanted to return to a growth company environment where we thrive, and where our expertise can have the biggest impact for clients. Now we get to do meaningful work as part of a top expert community,” says co-founder Tomi Bergman.

“Norrin has systematically built a unique end-to-end technology capability. Launching an advisory firm strengthens the business-level services, which have already proven critical in unlocking business value during major technology shifts.”

“We’ve known the Talent Base team for years. I’ve even made a few acquisition offers in the past. This new firm makes Norrin a truly unique partner in solving the toughest data and AI challenges companies face today," says Seppo Kuula, CEO of Norrin.

AI investments carry risks, which currently appear to be materializing with an astonishingly high probability.

The pace of technological change, unseen in previous transformations, has become a major challenge for business leadership.

“The speed of change creates new kinds of difficulties for top management in understanding where AI’s real value lies and how development initiatives should be led.”

A key part of the advisor’s role is to identify where slowing down the transformation process makes the most sense in terms of value creation, and where it’s possible to move quickly.

This, in turn, requires aligning the interests of different organizational units and building arguments for top management to time and target investments correctly.

“The most significant risk lies in how companies invest in and adopt new technology. Senior leadership often aims to invest in AI in ways that deliver quick, visible results. This leads to isolated pilots, failures, or an inability to demonstrate the business value AI can generate,” Bergman says.

Norrin is a unique enterprise AI scale-up partner , with services covering the entire delivery chain from data platforms and user interfaces to APIs and learning algorithms. Now, this offering is strengthened with one of Finland’s leading executive advisory teams.
