How to make industrial AI work from pilots to production

AI deployments in industrial settings often look promising on paper and struggle in practice. Environments are demanding, and the gap between proof of concept and daily use is wider than expected. This webinar is about bridging that gap.

In this webinar, we walk through what industrial AI looks like when it works, with real use cases spanning machine vision, predictive process optimization, language models, and AI agents. Boliden will share how they built an object identification model their operations teams actually use.

Veikko Saikkonen, Norrin's Head of Industrial AI, opens with what industrial AI actually covers, the use cases Norrin has worked on, and how AI systems are developing in production environments. He'll also walk through a visual demo of what industrial AI looks like inside a real factory.

Anton Nyman, Business Analyst for Mill Operations at Boliden, presents how Boliden built and deployed their object identification model: what it does on the production floor, and what drove its success on the ground.

The webinar closes with a Q&A where Veikko, Anton, and David Arenbo, Norrin's Managing Director in Sweden, take questions on what the biggest obstacle was and how they got past it, how Boliden structured the project internally to make the model work, and what comes next for rolling it out across other sites.
